Lenton Garden is part of a city regeneration scheme in central Nottingham. The project is replacing 1960's high-rise buildings with high-quality homes for families and the elderly. This is a £14 million project undertaken by a leading community contractor, Keepmoat, with a total floor area of 1500m2. This project required a large amount of RhinoDeck™ safety decking to provide efficient safety at height access for building works.

Nottingham ground for RhinoDeck steel decking work to be produced.

RhinoDeck™ safety decking provides a fast and effective height access solution for low-level works; the easy install decking has high durability whilst maintaining a flexible functionality for temporary working platforms. Each RhinoDeck™ safety deck component weighs no more than 9.5kg and the component locks into place without the need for hand tools or fixing. This makes it easy to dismantle and re-install across the full site area, which enabled Keepmoat to successfully maintain the demanding schedule of their four-phase development.

In addition to the speed at which the system can be installed the flexibility of the design allows for bespoke solutions. With the majority of crash decking system they are often only available in standard 1.5m and 2.0m leg lengths. However, the specific RhinoDeck™ design is easily adaptable, more so compared to competitors. In the case of Lenton Garden, we supplied them with the 1.8m leg length to meet their specific requirements and provide an optimum solution for their working height.
